Charlotte Dean has spent years competing with The Golden Glaze, the doughnut shop across the street from her family's Honeydrop Doughnuts. But this year's Annual Doughnut Festival is personal. Charlotte is determined to win-and she's willing to do whatever it takes to beat her biggest rival. Unfortunately, that rival is Zoe Golden. Zoe is infuriating, competitive, ridiculously talented, and-much to Charlotte's annoyance-very attractive.

If Honeydrop wins the festival, Zoe has to spend an entire year praising her rival's doughnuts online. If The Golden Glaze wins, Charlotte has to stay out of every festival for a year. Easy enough. Until Charlotte and Zoe are paired together for a university coding project.
Spending hours together building a video game should be unbearable.
