Résumé

Domingo is no ordinary donkey. By day, he carries hay and plods sleepily around Farmer Fred's barn. But by night, under the silver glow of the moon, Domingo has a secret-he sings grand opera with a voice so powerful it makes the crickets stop chirping and the owls applaud. When Professor Hootsworth, a wise old owl with spectacles, discovers Domingo's hidden talent, he offers to train him. With the help of sassy Bella the Cat (self-appointed stage director) and Pip the Piglet (his number-one fan and snack manager), Domingo begins to dream of sharing his music with the world.
But not everyone believes in a singing donkey. Mischievous goats laugh at his midnight rehearsals, leaving Domingo embarrassed and ready to give up. Just when his dream seems too heavy to carry, Farmer Fred uncovers Domingo's secret-and instead of laughing, encourages him to perform. What follows is the most magical night the barnyard has ever seen: hay bales become theatre seats, lanterns become stage lights, and Domingo takes center stage to sing his opera for all to hear.
To everyone's surprise (even the goats'), his braying opera voice is nothing short of magnificent. The Donkey Who Sang Opera at Midnight is a funny, heartwarming story about courage, friendship, and believing in your voice-even when others laugh.
