Résumé

Andrew Fluegelman was a corporate attorney who made a name for himself in the world of computing, specifically in the shareware business model for software. He suffered from colitis and was on medication for it when he was diagnosed with cancer. On July 6, 1985, Fluegelman left his office in Tiburon, California, and was never seen again. A week later, police officers found his car abandoned at the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge near San Francisco.
According to officers, there was a note found in the car, but they declined to release details. On July 17, 1985, Fluegelman's family held a memorial service for him, convinced that he had jumped over the bridge and committed suicide. His wife of one year, Patricia, declined to comment about her husband's disappearance. However, David Bunnell stated that Fluegelman's colitis medication may have caused him severe depression.
Most of Fluegelman's colleagues were shocked by the news, and many maintained that he was no depressed, and that he was the least likely person to ever commit suicide. What happened to Andrew Fluegelman?
