She hissed in pain. Obedience thrust her hand over the boiling pot and let several drops of blood fall into the roiling liquid. Tace wanted to draw away from the intense heat, but Obedience held it there forcing the blood out until she judged there was enough in the pot. "Did you bring his offering?"
