Résumé
January 2011, Liam Weber, a high school student well known as the son of the powerful Army captain, will have to make the biggest choice of his life: Defend his country post 9/11 or chase the woman of his dreams. Dependent: Strength of Ming is a coming of age story from an American community that is never heard, the military dependent. Coming from a military background, Liam has grown up moving from one place to another, until his father recent retirement. Now the pressure rests on him, as he is expected to carry on his family name and tradition by serving in one of the military's elite fighting forces.
With Liam witnessing 9/11 his life seems to be decided for him until he meets the beautiful Sandra and things start to change. Sandra is a civilian but seems to understand and push Liam to be more then he could have dreamed for himself. With Sandra showing him another path in life will Liam abandon the family dream of him a becoming a hero or will Sandra be his true love forcing him to abandon the family.
