Résumé
Illustrated Edition - This new 2025 edition features over 30 illustrations by the author, captured in manga style!Daichi Hara, a 16-year old Japanese high school student is suddenly given the power of Death. A Death must stabilize the world population by killing a quota of 1, 000 humans per month. To do this, a Death is given control over one of the five elements: fire, earth, water, wind, or void.
Daichi receives Earth. If they do not meet the quota, they die; however, Deaths remain immortal and unaging if they meet their quota. Daichi meets John Maddox, the American Fire Death, who teaches him how to wield the Death powers. But when Mirko Fleischer, the German Water Death, takes Daichi's best friend, Izumi Mori, as a hostage, Daichi and Maddox must work together to save her.
