Résumé

Charles Worth's life has just been shaken to the foundation. His family and his home seem to be crumbling around him. His father has lost a long battle with cancer. His mother's grief has pushed her to alienate herself from the family with work. His little sister has sought comfort in the arms of a 'bad boy.' Only his little brother with Downs Syndrome seems to be handling the loss well. So Charles decides to take time off from college in order to deal with it all.
This creates problems of its own, especially with his girlfriend of two years. While trying to step into his father's role, he discovers that the life he knows may be a lie in more ways than one.

A propos de Kimberly Purcell

I pay my bills by working as an administrative assistant for the Wauwatosa School District. I've been there for over a decade. My free time is spent working on my house that I share with my sister and best friend Karen, who is also my biggest fan. I have an associates degree (almost) in Building Preservation, that I received from Belmont Technical College. I spent five years in Chicago. Three years as a student and two years as a full-time employee at Moody Bible Institute.
Charles and Ivy Green were born in Chicago more than 20 years ago and have been simmering on the back burner since then, when I'd occasionally bring them out and stir them up, add some spices or herbs. It came to a full boil in 2013 when I took the NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writers Month) challenge and finally put it all down into my computer.
