Résumé

In Dar es Salaam a daughter's silence unsettles her family and exposes the fragile line between love, pride, and shame. Born into wealth yet hidden from the world, Upendo becomes a symbol of the struggles faced by children with autism in societies that refuse to understand them. Her tears echo through locked doors and broken promises, raising a haunting question: Who will weep tomorrow's child if we do not see her today?Christina Samamba's The Daughter's Tear is a moving African play that blends pain, resilience, and hope.
It challenges stigma, confronts silence, and celebrates the hidden brilliance within every child.
