Caught in the crosshairs of her past and present, Jess must navigate more than the boardroom in this tension-filled, sassy, and very steamy torn between two lovers contemporary romance. I'm climbing the corporate ladder one cherry-red stiletto step at a time. As cliché as that visual is, the shoes always got me through the door while my talent got me a well-earned seat at the boardroom table. Accepting the position of Creative Director in a shared role at Digame (one of New York's largest ad agencies) wasn't my original plan, but I was up for the challenge.
However, while preparing to give my pompous British Co-Director a run for his money, I fell for his accent and cologne, and he fell for my smart mouth and red shoes. I had hoped our pent-up desires would be quelled in a one-time tryst, an unspoken truth I thought we shared. The truth is, nobody realizes how deep a rabbit hole is until they've fallen down one. Complicating matters is my ex-fiance, who makes me believe that time heals all wounds, and now I'm torn between my future and my past.
