The longer he understands what she's trying to do and why the less certain he is that she's wrong. A science fiction epic about power without mercy, grief that calcifies into ideology, and the terrifying cost of being right.
Told through alternating perspectives and built on a hard magic system where every act of control demands a piece of you in return, The Last Signal refuses easy answers on either side of its final confrontation. There is no clean victory here only a choice, and the question of what it costs to make it. For readers who want their space opera morally tangled: where the antagonist's logic never quite lets you look away, and the hero's greatest weapon might be the same thing that's slowly unmaking him.
