The Contest

After years of apartment living, Michaela Twomey has bought her very own house. Well, it's half of a duplex, but it's still her half. And maybe it has a few holes in the walls, every room has ugly wallpaper that has to be removed, and the entire house needs to be painted, but it's still her very own house. She is positive everything is going to be absolutely perfect. Until she meets Duncan McLean, the man living in the other side of the duplex.
Duncan McLean has only one goal, update and resell his half of a duplex for a nice profit. What he has failed to take into consideration is his neighbor, some interfering relatives, and a contest he has managed to somehow win without having entered it. When he learns what the contest stipulations are, he wonders how he'll be able to handle the chaos headed his way. Spearheaded by none other than Michaela Twomey.
