Eighteen-year-old Mia Miller is facing jail time for shoplifting-again. Her only way out is six months in a kitchen program for young offenders, learning to bake alongside other kids who've screwed up just as badly. What Mia doesn't expect is to actually be good at something for once. Or to find real friendship with Izzy, who sees potential in her that she's never seen in herself. Or to completely destroy it all when jealousy and a stupid crush lead her to make the worst decision of her life.
