The City Between Us

This is how the story goes:One girl is chosen for the ballet company, and one isn't; their friendship wobbles. Big feelings crash in like waves. A grandmother tells half-truths until she finds the courage to tell the whole truth. A dusty old cello finds new hands. And then, one day, the girl who thought she was only a dancer discovers that the music inside her has more than one way forward. Ages 8 to 12 (for the kids becoming teens, and for all the adults who never forgot)
