Alex goes to his Grandfather's funeral only to come back with an old wolf's pelt. While emptying his bag back at his college dorm, he manages to cut his finger on it, beginning a chain reaction of changes for Alex. As the night nears with a full moon rising, Alex goes out to get medicine for not feeling well, only to run into his childhood friend and lifelong bully only to begin a transformation. There, under the full moon, the first Lycan in Decades stood.
