The Bridge Between Them

March 7, 1945. Remagen, Germany. The bridge is still standing. Thomas Reiner is a young American private from York County, Nebraska. It asks something harder: to hold two truths at once. That history was already decided.
And that the boys inside it - both of them - were young, and afraid, and human. The river is still there. The bridge is not. The men who crossed it still remember.
