Résumé
Deep in the outer reaches of the galaxy, the cargo ship Stellar is home to a close-knit family. Flying from job to job, captain Leonard and his family work together to keep their ship running, even when young Darren's obsession with robot design accidentally knocks their navigation computer off course. When the Stellar hitches a salvage line to a cold, mysterious derelict ship floating in the dangerous Dibian sector, the family thinks they've found a valuable score.
Instead, they stumble into a terrifying trap. The abandoned ship is home to the dreaded Oobax, a vicious, war loving alien species desperate to rebuild their fallen empire at any cost, starting with the crew of the Stellar. Captured and locked inside the ship's cloning chamber, the family's fate seems sealed. But the aliens didn't count on Darren sneeking onto their mainframes earlier to build his dream creations.
When the cloning machine is activated, it isn't new alien warriors that emerge from the smoke, it's Darren's ultimate, metal creations, programmed with one primary directive: protect his family and stop the Oobax. The Boy Who Designed Robots is a thrilling, fast-paced sci-fi adventure about creative thinking, family bonds, and how even the smallest hobbies can turn into galaxy saving robots.
