Résumé
In this final volume of The Stones of Veylindré, Abigail and her friends finally brave the enemy country of Talamdor, in order to beard the Prophet of the One in his lair. They have two goals: first: to fulfil the quest laid on them by the Wayzenmoot, to steal the Master Bloodstone of Talamu and return it to Ranusheim to be destroyed; and second, to rescue Jacob from the Prophet's clutches. In the meantime, the armies of Talamdor have invaded Veylindré - time is running out for the questers.
And Jacob is being groomed by the Prophet to succeed him. With each mile they draw closer to Talamunem City, they will be in more and more danger.
