The Birth Tree

First are the serfs of Downdale, scratching a bare existence from land they will never be allowed to own. Second, sailing across the North Sea, are the bloody-handed Vikings who take what they want. Third are the Sidhe Fae, whose long lives lead them to view humans as pets - at best. And then there are the great trees with enormous - and incompatible - value to each of the three. Meet Annwn, an ordinary woman on an extraordinary journey, tasked to do the impossible.
Sometimes, the impossible can be done, with a stolen story, a ladder, a rope, and a bit of help from a friend.
