Résumé

From TV comedian Rosie Jones comes a sparky and HILARIOUS series for readers aged 9+. Perfect for fans of Jacqueline Wilson and DORK DIARIES.'Fresh, funny and ultra cool' - Jacqueline WilsonHi! I'm Edie Eckhart. I'm a little bit different. I have a disability called cerebral palsy, so I talk slowly and fall over a lot. It's never really bothered me because I've never known anything else. This term, Edie Eckhart has A LOT on her mind:'Why am I the only one who doesn't know what to be when I grow up? Why am I the only one worried about going on the school drama trip? And why am I the only one who thinks eating 21 Brussels sprouts at once is YUMMY?' Life's confusing questions are making Edie wonder if she REALLY knows who she REALLY is.
Will Edie realise it's OK not to have ALL the answers ALL of the time ... and just BE EDIE?
Rosie Jones is a stand-up comedian, actor, writer and household name in British comedy, and she's striving for national treasure status. Alongside her award-winning stand-up, Rosie is a familiar face on UK television - she's fronted her own Comedy Central series, starred in a Channel 4 documentary and led two travel series, Mission: Accessible and the BAFTA-nominated Trip Hazard. She is the creator and star of a BAFTA-nominated Channel 4 comedy-drama series for adults and has also acted in primetime TV series such as Call the Midwife.
Rosie has appeared on Taskmaster, Live at the Apollo, QI, 8 Out of 10 Cats, The Last Leg and many more, and often incorporates her cerebral palsy into her comedic style. She is delighted to be a children's author of several books - Jaqueline Wilson is her personal hero! Natalie lives in Devon with her Husband, Son and dog (Maggie). She can usually be found either scribbling furiously at the computer with a decent box set on in the background, or out in the garden supervising her digger-obsessed son and stick-obsessed dog.
