Résumé

Rick Williams took the contract gathering the remnant of walking 7 steers from the Battle Ax Ranch. He knew it to be 40 sections of hell's back yard, but didn't know there was a remnant of wild cattle, also. The ranch had been recently purchased, sight unseen by an investor. Every one involved looked to Rick to clean it off. And when the new owner sent his daughter to count the cattle they shipped, it put more pressure than necessary.
