The author, a former lecturer of Journalism/Mass Communication at Manifold Tutorial College, Accra, Ghana, has over 40 years professional experience in newspapering and newspaper management. Starting as Editorial Assistant, the Rising Sun Magazine, and later as an intern with the Ghanaian Times and Weekly Spectator Newspapers (New Times Corporation, Accra-Ghana), Yaw Asirifi-Twum has practiced in Nigeria and Germany where he was writing for the "Lagos Eye" and "Nigeria Business Digest" in Nigeria, and "Fuldaer Zeitung" and "Fulda Aktuell" in Germany.
He was the first Editor-In-Chief of the Banner Newspaper and later, the Clerk and Sun News. "The Art of Newspapering and Effective Newspaper Management in a Digital Landscape" is the outcome of practical experience and indepth research over the years. The book takes into acute consideration, why several traditional newspapers have folded up in the digital age, whereas others have survived. In the dynamic world of media, newspapers hold a significant place as a primary source of information, opinion, and analysis.
The book delve deep into topics outlined, providing insights, case studies, and practical tips to navigate the complexities of newspapering and effective newspaper management in the modern era of digitization.
