Résumé

In the near future, the world's democracies collapse under the weight of corruption and mass protests. To restore order, the United Nations of Terra implements a radical experiment: the People's Algorithm, a real-time digital voting system that constantly measures the approval rating of politicians. If a leader's popularity falls below 50% for more than a month, they are immediately removed from office.
At first, the system is hailed as a revolution in governance, bringing unprecedented transparency and public influence. But as the system grows, so do its challenges. Politicians no longer govern with long-term strategies-they chase daily popularity scores, making impulsive decisions to please voters. Citizens, empowered yet overwhelmed, become addicted to political battles, casting votes daily like social media reactions.
When the First Minister of Terra, Elena Vasquez, finds herself facing a sudden drop in ratings due to a manipulated viral scandal, she must uncover a hidden conspiracy: someone is gaming the People's Algorithm to overthrow global democracy itself. As digital mobs, AI-driven political influencers, and hacker rebels fight for control over the system, Vasquez must decide-will she destroy the very tool that gave power back to the people, or risk letting democracy become a dystopian game of public opinion?Key Themes:The power and pitfalls of direct digital democracyThe tension between popularity and effective leadershipThe role of AI and big data in shaping political decisionsThe ethical dilemma of governance by algorithm
