Flippay was the world's most famous Ribbittor, and his concerts were always packed with enthusiastic crowds, whose acclaim would follow him as he left the stage.
This time, he was greeted by silence and there would be no after-party. When he received an urgent message as he sat in his dressing room, he realized that things really had changed. Large events, like his concerts, would be canceled to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Flippay knew he was safe; he wore his mask everywhere and practiced the six-foot rule, but even as he looked out the entrance of the concert hall, he saw throngs of people, and many were not wearing masks.
All this concern over the pandemic made him think of home. Why not go home for a spell to Swamptown. He'd love to see his old friends and relax a spell in the swampy waters. He knew he was covid-free, and decided to pack his bags and leave the very next day. Then he had an awful dream that made him think twice about his journey.
