With her familiar gone, married to the same man that ordered her father's death, in love with someone who is a captive of the elves in Dourwood, haunted by the threat of constant demise, and forced to feed Queen Farretta her own magic to empower the shapeshifter to rise again-Celia is sure things couldn't get any worse. She's wrong.
