CAT PILLARWilliam waited by the gopher holeFor "Something To Chase" to come outHe knew that the thing had gone in thereHe saw it go in, without doubtHe had gotten up very earlyTo see everything going onHe was very, very curiousSo he had gotten up at dawnThe gopher/thing looked exciting, butMaybe, just a little too bigHe didn't really know what he'd doIf it ran from the hole where it hidThat nasty smell must be it, he thoughtAs a whiff of scent came out"It's an awfully stinky smellThe smelliest of all, no doubt"After waiting what seemed like hoursWilliam wore out and lost hope"It is not coming out", he thoughtSo he went off to capture The Rope
