They get married in a simple ceremony in the church, but Dory soon finds out that her husband is a very busy Sheriff - with increasing complaints of robbery and violence constantly grabbing his attention.

As the thefts grow bolder, even targeting the church, safety precautions must be put in place. Carson Valley is a small community; the culprit cannot be far from their sight.
