It is critical to recognize, however, the distinction between how last days is used in the New Testament in reference to the church age and how it is used in Old Testament prophecies in reference to Israel. #4 God does not give us prophecy to teach us mere facts about the end times.
It is highly revealing that many prophetic passages in the Bible are followed by an exhortation to personal purity.
