Résumé

Please note: This is a companion version & not the original book. Sample Book Insights: #1 Drug use begins innocently enough. A child is handed a joint and takes a puff. He's given a beer and has a sip. Some don't like it and they stop. Many of them continue to use occasionally, and some use frequently. #2 Jacqueline's son, Kevin, was arrested for dealing and possession of drugs when he was 13.
His parents sent him to LA to be with his grandparents, but his grandfather discovered that someone had been stealing prescription pads. #3 Jacqueline, his mother, tried to get him help, but he kept going down hill. She eventually stopped hearing from him, and when she did, knew it was getting worse. He had smoked pot, drank, used cocaine, bath salts, mushrooms, heroin, and mostly methamphetamine. #4 Jacqueline's life was shattered by her son's death.
She loved him with every ounce of her being, and she knew he loved her back. But the drugs won in the end.
