Résumé

Please note: This is a companion version & not the original book. Sample Book Insights: #1 I remember my grandfather having a heart attack, and being extremely despondent about his health and the future of the farm. My mother and father stayed because of this, despite my grandmother dying and my father being offered a job in Bloomington. #2 My grandfather, who had been a full-time hobby farmer, suddenly became very ill.
He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors tried to stabilize him, but informed my parents that the end was near. My grandfather seemed to will himself better then, or at least better enough to be released so that he could die at home. #3 I was outside with my dad when my mom screamed from the back bedroom that Grandpa was not breathing. My parents didn't want me to cry in front of my grandfather, but I couldn't help it.
I wished he would wake up and ask me to pass the remote. #4 I had worn the dress to my baptism, a light blue floral number with a white collar to match the white faux-leather shoes it came with. My mom insisted I wear it to the funeral, and I did.
