Some of the stories are serious, some are comical and some are whimsical but all are meant to entertain. One character travels through time never leaving his chair while another sees the world from the spiritual side. Standing sentry high in the air, an angel spots a demon entering a hospital, expecting trouble, the angel is surprise to learn the demon was sent to help.
Crashing his spaceship in a soybean field, the alien's first words to humans, are to ask for asylum. Lastly, a cowboy is caught between the living and the afterlife, trying to understand why his life and possessions are disappearing around him.
