She is traveling with Roland, and she has factored Sam into her scheme, which goes well beyond a simple jailbreak. Victoria is not on the side of law and order, but she and the local sheriff agree that the bounty on Roland's head tells a story-and they both think it means riches for them. They have their agenda and it complicates Sam's life. But then, life on the frontier often gets complicated, and who thinks bringing in an outlaw to stand trial would ever be easy?
