Lee is the author of the international bestseller The Art of Execution and co-author of its sequel, Stock Market Maestros. He is best known for his research bringing to light the link between how an investor 'reacts' when winning or losing and their ultimate success. He introduced a widely recognised framework of investor archetypes -Assassins, Hunters, Rabbits, Raiders, and Connoisseurs - creating a behavioural vocabulary that helps explain how investors 'react', and how that leads to success or failure.
Before Lee became an author, the Citywire 1000 report recognised him as one of the world's top fund managers in 2012. His flagship fund received the top AAA rating by Citywire and a Gold rating from S&P Capital IQ. Lee has a Master's Degree in Psychology & Neuroscience of Mental Health, an LL. B(Hons) Law Degree, and the Investment Management Certificate (IMC). He is also a Licensed Independent HeartMath® Certified Trainer and Mentor.
He is married and lives with his wife and son in Israel. When he is not researching and writing his books, he can be found carrying his wife's SUP on the beach, playing and watching darts, and living and studying Kabbalah. Clare Flynn Levy is the founder and CEO of Essentia Analytics, a fintech firm that uses decision attribution analytics to help both fund managers and allocators of capital to them to identify investment skill and bias - and continuously improve their decision-making.
Prior to founding Essentia, Clare spent 10 years as a fund manager, running over $1bn of pension funds for Deutsche Asset Management and later as CIO of Avocet Capital Management, a London-based technology hedge fund. Passionate about understanding human behaviour through data, she has spent the last decade analysing the investment decision-making of professional investors. Clare is the the co-author of Stock Market Maestros alongside Lee Freeman-Shor, author of The Art of Execution.
