"Seattle Blues" was picked a best book of the year by the Bank Street School of Education in 2009. Wenberg lives with his wife, Sandy, in Kingston, Washington, a small village on Washington state's Puget Sound.
Wenberg has attended Seattle Pacific University and Eastern Washington University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Gonzaga University.
