Résumé
Grief does not follow a clock. It ignores your calendar, your plans, and the brave face you have worn for everyone around you. Some mornings the loss feels years away. Other mornings it feels like yesterday. If you have opened this book, you already know that, and you have already done the hardest part: deciding to keep going. This devotional grew out of a book written by a widow who walked this road herself, together with a pastor who has spent his life helping people find their footing in Scripture.
Over ninety days, we want to walk beside you, not ahead of you and not above you. We are peers on the same ground, learning the same lessons, leaning on the same God. We will not rush you. There is no recovery schedule in these pages, no checklist that promises you will be finished by day ninety. What you will find instead is a daily place to bring your heart, a verse to stand on, a short reflection to think through, one small step to take, and a PRAYER to carry with you.
Some days will land deeply. Others may feel ordinary. Both are part of the work. The heart of everything here is simple. When loss upends a life, healing begins by putting God back in first place and keeping him there. From that place, and only from that place, the rest slowly finds its order again. You are still living, and you are still loved. Let us begin.
