Step by Step: How to Cover Bottles With Fine Macramé

This remarkable book is a compilation of over 45 years (since 1968) of secrets and techniques I have developed for covering antique (and new) bottles with fine macrame/sailor's knots. Sailors used to cover their rum bottles with macrame/sailor's knots so that if accidentally dropped on a ship's deck the bottle was less likely to break. But they are also very beautiful works of art in their own right.
Historically there has been a lack of recorded instruction on how to do this work: I have searched for years. This book will take you from start to finish with detailed text and photographs of the project. `IMPORTANT: you MUST already know the three basic macrame knots and simple techniques before starting this project.
