Star Crossed

Once an angel who longed for nothing more than to create the brightest, most marvellous constellations in the sky, to serve as a backdrop for Earth's denizens, Kokabiel is now a demon who roams the very world their brethren created. Six thousand years since their Fall, they have gotten used to life mingling with humans, spreading hints of Sloth where they go. What sort of Sloth demon would take their job seriously, anyway? Just when things were getting boring...
Enter Lucifer, the leader of the rebellion six thousand years past, who held radical ideals like living their life free from the constraints of God's will, free from the servitude of the inferior creatures that are the humans. He's been cooped up in Hell far too long, and thus was given the boot by Belphegor, who decided that their leader ought to breathe some fresh air once in a while. Thanks to their shared history, Lucifer picks Kokabiel to be his guide on the topside of Earth and won't accept "No" for an answer.
Kokabiel, understandably, is less than pleased, more afraid than anything. Babysitting their prideful Lord was never part of their job description!Yet, as the duo spends more time together, unsaid questions and lingering emotions fester between them. Perhaps something more would start to bloom sometime soon, under the blanket of stars they created so long ago...
