Im Laufe ihrer wissenschaftlichen Karriere hat Christina Gansel Forschungsbeiträge zu verschiedenen linguistischen Arbeitsfeldern veröffentlicht; von ihren Anfängen in der Grammatikforschung, über Forschungen im Kontext der Semantik von Verben, bis hin zu umfassenden Arbeiten im Bereich der Textlinguistik. So vielfältig und heterogen diese Arbeitsbereiche auf den ersten Blick wirken, lässt sich zu allen der Systembegriff als Orientierungspunkt produktiv in Beziehung setzen.
An die Forschungsthemen Christina Gansels wird im Rahmen dieser Festschrift angeschlossen, wobei der Text-Sprache-System-Zusammenhang als einende Klammer dient. In the course of her scientific career, Christina Gansel has published contributions on a wide variety of linguistic issues; from her beginnings in grammar research, to research in the context of the semantics of verbs, to comprehensive work in the field of text linguistics.
As diverse and heterogeneous as these fields of work may seem at first, the concept of system can be productively related to all of them. Christina Gansel's research topics are now to be productively connected within the framework of a Festschrift, whereby the text-language-system context is to serve as a unifying bracket.
