According to the protocol plan of God, before you receive Spiritual gifts, the Spirit Himself must first be given the opportunity to dwell in the garden of your heart to prepare you for a spiritual life. When He dwells in your heart, He works within you. You however have a role to play as He works in you; you must give Him full control. The "gifts" of the Holy Spirit (Rom. 11:29, 12:6; I Cor. 12:1, 4, 31, 14:1, 12; Eph.
4:8) is different from the "gift" of the Holy Spirit (Acts. 2:38; Rom. 1:11); one is enduement, thus the Holy Spirit Himself as a Gift, and the other is endowments, thus the Holy Spirit giving you gracious gifts.
