Spellbound

When Shari finds an injured cat at the park, she knows she's in trouble. She can't - won't - leave it there, but if she brings it home she knows that her stepmother, who has looked after her and her brother Danny since their father died, will make her take it straight to the pound. Unless something incredibly, unexpectedly, magical happens. Something that makes Shari even more grateful that she rescued the cat.
