Résumé

Soul Journey: Finding Christ in Atheism shares about my life from atheism to a life with Christ. I was an atheist for many years, firmly convinced that religions and all those who preach about God are only a way to control the people. Back in my teenage years, I was also heavily influenced by the teachings of Karl Marx and Nietzsche. I was convinced that what we call faith in God is simply a failure of humanity to rise up to their full potential, and that people seek God only when they are sick of themselves.
From a philosophical viewpoint, relying on a God is the death of philosophy and rationalism. It is just another way of saying you do not know and that you cannot do what needs to be done. It is a graceful escape from responsibilities.  I was not alone in that kind of personal philosophy. In fact, I enjoyed good company with like-minded people. Especially in our modern world, many people are now leaving their churches and finding more comfort and even friendships in atheism.
I thought I knew it all. Science and philosophy have collapsed the foundation of spirituality, or at least that was what I thought.  Soul Journey: Finding Christ in Atheism is probably my personal story, but it is also the story of every soul in the world seeking happiness, peace, and love. This book is not about atheism. I am not against atheism, just as I am not against anyone. But, I have to admit that I have found Christ, or perhaps Christ found me - and that has made all the difference.  I hope that this little book serves as a guiding light to anyone who is currently searching for whatever it may be, for the one that I have found is more than anything that the heart can desire.
