The Anesthesia Drugs Handbook has been translated into five languages and is also now available on the Internet (www.medicinehouse.com). Expanded dosing information has been provided on many of the drugs including the muscle relaxants, narcotics and local anesthetics.
New drugs have been added including Dexmedetomidine Hcl, Fospropofol Disodium, Milrinone Lactate, Aprepitant, Fosaprepitant Dimeglumine, Intralipid 20%, Tranexamic Acid, Inamrinone Lactate and the inhalation gas Nitric Oxide. Readers who wish to obtain more information on the inflammatory origin of pain should consult The Biochemical Origin of Pain (State-of-the-Art Technologies, 2002).
