Hi, I am from New York. I am an introvert, however I like to challenge myself (and go outside of my comfort zone). I have been writing for several years. I mainly write poetry, but have also written short works of fiction. I am a (non-practicing) licensed Funeral Director, and currently a teacher in a NYC public school. I grew up in a big family, and moved a lot during my younger years. I now have my own family, and love spending time with them.

This is a second edition. It includes an additional ten poems (mermaid based poems have been added). This is a collection of 88 free verse poems. The format for this book is comprised in the following 5 parts: mermaid poems, love and love lost, nature and myth, poems about life, poems about death and darkness. Some of these poems reflect how the author felt at the time it was written, while others are merely fictional creations of an imaginative mind exploring the human psyche.
