Résumé

What this book is aboutThis book is about seniors, focusing especially on those seniors in need, as those who are forced to seek outside help due to advancing age, an incapacitating stroke, or due to suffering from Alzheimer's, or some other form of dementia. This book will be of help to those are planning to work with seniors as a front line worker in a caregiving facility, or working for a Company which hires workers to work with seniors, or if you are thinking of being self-employed in working with seniors, or even for those planning to have a ministry to seniors.
The book is divided into three major sections, "Understanding Seniors, " "Working With Seniors, " and "Ministering To Seniors." The author takes a balanced view throughout, between the needs of the seniors and their families on the one hand, and those who work with seniors to make a living on the other hand. About the authorRoger Henri Trepanier is now in his 26th year of working with seniors, principally as a ministry.
At one time, he seriously considered being an administrator in a caregiving facility and obtained a two year certificate in Long Term Care Management. This is the author's eighth published work.
