From the occupation of Williamsburg to the Siege of Yorktown, the History Detective Club follows history to one of the American Revolution's most dangerous turning points. Because this time, history is right outside their door. Welcome to the History Detective Club.TWhere history doesn't feel like homework.
Wendy is an author, advocate, wife, and mother who has had extensive personal experience dealing with constipation and gastrointestinal issues because her husband has Crohn's and her youngest son has Celiac and Megacolon. She is not a doctor or a medical professional. She is a woman who was determined to help her family. Wendy's son was put on Miralax at age 4 for his chronic constipation. He suffered horrible side effects, including tics, anxiety, panic attacks, night terrors, mouth sores, slurred speech and delayed development.
After seeing her son struggle with multiple health and neurological issues from Miralax, she decided that there had to be a better way than toxic medicines. Under the care of an amazing Integrative Medicine doctor, she worked to find the root cause of her son's health issues. Seeing the huge improvements in her son's health with the changes she made, she decided to share what she had learned with other families who were struggling with constipation and gut issues.
Wendy has had the privilege to help thousands of families like hers to end their struggles with chronic constipation and undo the damage that the constipation caused.
