"The scent of fear is the scent of a wound."   When Ash insisted on driving Claire to a picturesque Christmas market for their first date, there was no way she could say no. Despite her hatred of the holidays, she keeps finding herself swayed by his charming smile and his excitement for all things Christmas.  Ash has made it his personal mission to make Claire fall in love with the holidays. The moment she said that she wasn't a Christmas person, he decided that, no matter what he was running from in his personal life, he was going to sweep her off her feet and give her a first date that she would never forget.  Between shopping for gifts, flirting, & drinking hot chocolate, she's hoping to forget about a mysterious disappearance from her past.
Meanwhile, he's determined to distract himself from a slow loss that's making him fear for his future.  While they're busy getting lost in each other, they don't realize that something sinister is hunting them from the shadows of the forest...  Something hungry.
