Every girl dreams of finding her happily-ever-after. Even me. Maybe even especially me, thanks to growing up in the foster system. But never did I imagine my HEA would come in the form of a tall, dark, and handsome vampire. I mean, I'm a werewolf moonlighting as a vampire slayer. He's the Vampire King. He's everything I've been trained to hunt-dangerous, powerful, and ancient. But he's also my fated mate.
Because apparently destiny has a warped sense of humor. So when the Slayer Academy places a bounty on Gabriel's head, it's up to me to save his insufferable, entitled-and oh so deliciously firm-ass. Even if that means kidnapping him. It's for his own protection, I swear. Holing up with him at my friend's cabin out in the middle of nowhere should work. At least until I can figure out who wants him dead and kill them first.
There's just one little problem. The cabin only has one bed. Because of course it does. My job is to keep him safe. That means no impaling each other with sticks or... other hard bits. Ha. Fat chance of that.
