Résumé

Slocum's on the run-wanted for a killing he didn't commit. Slocum's career as a bronc buster for the Circle Z Ranch comes to a sudden end when his boss believes he started a fight among the cowhands, and fires him. After a night of drowning his sorrows in the saloon of the town of Rascality, Slocum finds he's a wanted man. His ex-employer was found dead from a gunshot wound to the back.   Marla Ziglinsky doesn't think Slocum's the kind of man who would shoot her father in the back.
As new boss of the Circle Z, she engages Slocum's help in finding the real killer. But when it appears that the murder is only part of a thieving ring involving cattle and the ranch's mine, Slocum finds himself preparing to bust broncos who deal in lead.
