Sherlock Holmes & The Hand of Mesmer

An old acquaintance of Watson's is concerned that a colleague is being misled by a Doctor Shukov, a fellow who claims to have miraculous powers. Shukov is to demonstrate his power of Mesmerism at Barts and this is witnessed by Holmes and Watson. Holmes is not convinced and invites Shukov to a soirée in Baker Street where Holmes pretends to be under Shukov's spell. Such is Holmes' performance that he is invited to be on stage with Shukov as proof of his power of Mesmerism.
However, Holmes is now set to expose the man as a fraud in a most spectacular way.
