Book 5 of the Shelley series. There are so many things that people take for granted. For a heterosexual couple it is normal to date for a while, get engaged, married, and settle down with children. For Shelley, these things always seemed so out of grasp. Even the concept of love was a lost hope until one crazy night. Slowly she's gained some feeling of being normal. Friends she can enjoy time with, a place to go where she doesn't always have to carefully hide her body, and a lover who stands by her and supports her.
There's only a few more things a girl could want. For Shelley this fall finds her caught up in the full swing of the semester. Mid-terms just finished and term papers loom in the near future with only Thanksgiving break offering a too far off bit of sanity.
