The Trustee has a single fixation in her liminal existence, a desire to protect the fallen god, the Neta-Teej, at all costs. Somewhere between a guard and a prisoner, the Trustee has a voice in her head and no memory of self. She floats through a vast prison complex, a downward temple to its creator and warden, General Lucien. Called the shed and cellar by the inmates, the prison is inhabited by exiles from the United Terran Coalition.
They are seers, religious dissidents, and creators of inhuman entities, all with their own secret plots and a desire to become something greater. The Neta-Teej, excommunicated from the Holy Tribe, finds themselves caught between a desire for self destruction and rebellion, to force the hands of those who vie for power, no matter the outcome.
